This is how it works
When you arrive you are prompted to insert your GeldKarte in the slot at the barrier. The arrival time is then stored using your GeldKarte chip as method of identification.
At your depature you do not need to search for a payment machine – just get into your car, drive to the barrier and there the parking fee is deducted directly from your GeldKarte chip.
